Studies and scientific career

High school

I graduated in 2009 from the Conrad-Felixmüller-Gymnasium in Geithain in Saxony.

University

In 2013, I received my Bachelor's degree in Business and Ecnomics studies and Japanese studies from the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU). I absolved a research stay and a semester abroad at the Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2016, I received my Master's degree in Economics from the MLU.

Thereafter, I started my PhD studies at the Technische Universität Dresden in 2016.

Scientific career

I was an intern and student assistant at the IWH Halle during my Master's studies.

I was a PhD researcher and Junior Economist at the Dresden Branch of the ifo Institute in 2016-2023. Currently, I am a guest researcher at the same institute.
